Plantar Faciitis

Looks like plantar fasciitis struck another victim, this time, professional baseball player Albert Pujols’.  As one of the most common foot conditions in the country, affecting people of all ages whether their active in sports or not, plantar fasciitis can literally stop you in your tracks and slow down your mobility.

Several professional athletes have been affected in recent years, so much that an entire sport seasons have been missed due to recovery time.  If you’re a fan of Albert Pujols’ from the Los Angeles Angels, Evan Longoria of the Tampa Bay Rays, Antonio Gates from the San Diego Chargers, Pau Gasol of the Los Angeles Lakers, or Joakim Noah of the Chicago Bulls, you can blame plantar fasciitis for keeping these star athletes on the bench and for reducing their productivity.
