You Aren’t the Only One with Scary Feet

Kids looking at scary feet! It’s that time of the year where we see a lot of scary things walking about. But your feet don’t have to be one of them!

Many people suffer from foot problems, such as athlete’s foot, smelly feet (foot odor), toenail fungus, corns, calluses and cracked heels. HealthyFeetStore.com wants you to know that you shouldn’t be hiding or overlooking these painful issues.

We sell products that are podiatrist-recommended to solve these common foot problems, so you don’t have to sweat about frightening people off with your feet.

  • Athlete’s Foot: Athlete’s foot is a foot fungus that occurs between the toes and on the soles of your feet causing itching, blisters and often cracks in the skin. We recommend washing your feet with Pedifix Tea Tree Oil Antifungal Foot Soap daily and using Tripod Athlete’s Foot Cream to treat the skin infection and prevent future reinfection. Use Tineacide Antifungal Shoe Spray in your shoes to prevent fungus from forming and to keep it away once it disappears.
  • Smelly Feet: Foot odor, caused by sweaty feet, can be managed and controlled. We recommend one of our best selling products, On Your Toes, which is an odor control and antibacterial foot powder to kill the bacteria on your feet that creates the odor. Also using Tripod Athlete’s Foot Cream will diminish fungal infection on the feet which contributes to that locker room smell. Washing your feet with Pedifix Tea Tree Oil Antifungal Foot Soap daily and putting Cedar Shoe Trees in your shoes when you take them off at home can assist in the prevention of foot odor. We also highly suggest you wear a pair of our CoolMax Moisture Wicking Athletic Crew Socks, which are made out of a special fiber that wicks away moisture to keep your feet dry, while improving circulation in your legs. We also sell Summer Soles which are ultra absorbent strips of compressed wool and rayon fabric insoles that absorb and control excess moisture and eliminate that clammy feeling. Summersoles are available for men and women.
  • Toenail Fungus: Yellow toenails are a side effect of toenail fungus which is an infection on the underlying surface of the nail. Just like athlete’s foot, toenail fungus can be treated with a combination of Pedifix Tea Tree Oil Antifungal Soap and the Tineacide Antifungal kit which includes both the shoe spray and toenail cream. You could alo try Nonyx Nail Gel for yellow nails. Dr.’s Remedy Enriched Non-Toxic Nail Polish has two all-natural antifungal and antibacterial ingredients, garlic bulb and tea tree oil to effectively assist in the treatment and prevention of nail fungus. Toenail fungus can be stubborn and often requires a visit to your local podiatrist.
  • Calluses and Corns: Calluses may form when you wear shoes that don’t fit you properly or are of poor quality and cause friction and rubbing against the skin. A corn is a thick, hardened spot on the foot that formed from a callus. They usually develop on the tops, sides and tips of toes and can become inflamed and painful when shoes rub or press against them. Treat calluses and corns using a terra cotta foot scrubber can rub away some of the dead skin followed by DPM cream to soften rough skin. Using corn protector pads will ensure that your feet don’t receive additional pain. Heaven 4 Toes also offers a number of toe cushions and products to treat and protect against corns and calluses. In addition, we also offer toe separators to relieve the toe that is being a bit too “chummy.”
  • Dry, Cracked Heels: Cracks in the skin and heels form when the skin is too dry or too moist. Dry cracked heels can be prevented by using a terra cotta foot scrubber to rub away some of the dead skin and using a foot cream such DPM Skin & Callus Softener cream or Naot foot cream to soften and provide relief to the dry skin. If your heels crack and bleed, they allow an opening for infection, so please consult your physician.

Remember that these foot problems can be treated and prevented. Be sure to only wear shoes that feel comfortable on your feet and keep your feet clean, so you can show off your beautiful, healthy feet to the world!
