HealthyFeetStore.com is an online shoe and foot care products store established by podiatrist, Dr. Jeff Hurless, with the help of his wife Jennifer Hurless and her mother, Marty Backer. Healthyfeetstore.com allows people with sensitive feet access to all of the best orthopedic, therapeutic, and diabetic shoe brands, as well as an extensive selection of foot care products, all in one place 24 hours a day.

The original idea behind HealthyFeetStore.com was to create a store that would give Dr. Hurless’ patients at Advanced Podiatric Medical Center, his Thousand Oaks, California podiatry practice, access to the shoes and products they needed to relieve foot pain and improve existing foot conditions. Dr. Hurless and family were pleasantly surprised when the store’s popularity rapidly spread beyond its humble beginnings. Since its founding in 2004, HealthyFeetStore.com has served thousands of people across the nation.

Who writes HealthyFeetStore.com Blog?

Blog articles are written by content writers John Almodovar and Amanda Strouse.  Other contributors include Melissa Kumler, Keely Hyslop, and guest writers.  All blog entries are approved by Podiatrist Jeff Hurless and associate Melissa Kumler.

Dr. Jeff Hurless is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.  He was awarded his doctorate from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco and received his podiatry and surgical training at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Santa Clara, CA.  He currently owns and practices at Advanced Podiatric Medical Center, his private podiatry practice in Thousand Oaks, California.

John Almodovar has extensive experience in the e-commerce industry working as a content writer and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) analyst.  Before joining HealthyFeetStore.com he worked as a producer and writer for Yahoo!
